Summit Residential Solutions is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor — resident, property manager or applicant — to be able to find our services, read our content and contact us without barriers.
Standards we follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.
What we have done
- Semantic, correctly ordered headings on every page, so screen readers can navigate the structure.
- Descriptive alternative text on informative images, and empty alternative text on decorative ones.
- Text and interface colours checked for sufficient contrast against their background.
- Full keyboard access: every link, button and form field can be reached and used without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
- A “skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
- An accessibility toolbar that lets you increase text size, change contrast and adjust other reading preferences.
- Forms with properly associated labels, clear error messages and no reliance on colour alone.
- The page language declared in the code, and a language selector on every page.
Conformance status
We review this site against WCAG 2.2 AA as part of our maintenance routine. We consider it substantially conformant: most content meets the guidelines and we correct any barrier we find. Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time task.
Known limitations
Some third-party tools embedded in the site, such as security and analytics services, are outside our direct control and we cannot guarantee their accessibility. We review them as they change.
